MACHINING

• Mazak CNC 250M turning centre, 76 mm spindle bore, 1000 mm bed length, turning & milling in one machine.

• Dashin 1550 CNC lathe, 55 mm spindle bore, 1250 mm bed length fitted with Fagor 800 TGI controller. Good for small parts.

• Dashin Champion high speed precision lathes ( 2 of) fast accurate machine for precision work. 55 mm hollow spindle, 1250 mm bed, taper turning attachment, metric & imperial threads.

• Cypml heavy duty centre lathes, 1 is 3000 mm bed & 1 is 2000 mm bed. 105 mm spindle bores on both. 660 mm swing, 450 mm swing over saddle. Big capacity steady, metric & imperial threads, DP & MP available.

• Ward 3DS turret set up with Coventry die head, all collet sizes, 3 jaw chuck.

• Rigid 535 threading machine set up with pipe dies to 50 NB, bolt dies to M33.

MILLING

• Hafco BM60G turret milling machine, Int. 40 spindle, 1370 mm X 260 mm table, 125 mm quill travel, 550 mm table to spindle, DRO and all rotary & dividing tables. Very versatile c/w under slung arbour for gear cutting.

• Maxport turret milling machine, 1200 mm X 250 mm table set up as above.

DRILLING

• Azuma No. 5 MT spindle, 1800 mm elevating arm radial drilling machine, heavy duty with 1100 mm X 900 mm box table, drills 80 mm, taps M48 in steel, 300 mm quill travel, max base to drill 1400 mm.

• Redmond Gary 900 mm radial arm drill, has compound angle head allowing 45 degree side tilt and 180 degree front tilt, 250 mm quill travel with MT4 spindle, box table, quick change tapping heads and variable speeds.

• Sharp bench drills, ( 2 of) set up for small hole drilling and tapping with several size tapping heads.

• Power Bore magnetic base portable electric drilling machine, MT 3 spindle, drills 32 mm in steel, c/w roto broach adaptor. Ideal for site drilling & tapping.

SURFACE GRINDING

• Repco Power surface grinder fitted with 600 X 250 mm magnetic table, set up with wet grinding for steel.

KEYWAY CUTTING

• Minute Man internal keyway broaches, metric & imperial to ¾ “

• McPherson slotting machine, 150 mm stroke, c/w 300 mm square or 250 mm chuck, max work diameter 580 mm & max table to tool 240 mm.

• Klopp 400 mm stroke shaping machine with 400 X 300 mm table.

METAL CUTTING


• Everising 360 mm capacity fully automatic bandsaw with 6m roll on & 3500 mm roll off tables, cuts multiple cuts automatically.



• Sharp 300 X 150 mm metal cutting bandsaw



• Sharp 150 X 100 mm horizontal/ vertical metal cutting bandsaw.



• Iwatini PC 90 oxy acetylene profile cutting machine, 600 X 600 mm trace table, cuts up to75 mm plate from a drawing with a magic eye.


• Beetle oxy acetylene portable cutter, cuts straight or curves in plate up to 100 mm thick. Ideal for plate stripping or in field cutting.

HYDRAULIC PRESSES

• Power Press 60 tonne H frame hydraulic press, adjustable table set up for pressing and pushing & jig bending operations.

• Custom hydraulic presses ( 2 of) 10 tonne capacity for shop pressing, jig bending & keyway broaching. 450 mm fast ram travel, 65 mm ram.

METAL WORKING

• Geka Hydrocrop 80S, 80 tonne metal worker c/w punches to number 3 oversize,, cuts 150 X 10 mm angle, 450 X 15 mm plate, 45 mm round & square, punches 32 mm through 20 mm plate, has touch cut option, slotted punches & 32 mm & 25 mm flat bar end radius punches.

• Geka Hydrocrop 50S metal worker, small table to allow close punching to angle iron corners, set up as above.

WELDING

Welding on all metals including mild, stainless steel, Q & T plate, cast iron. Bronze with mig, stich or hard surfacing, oxy acetylene welding, bronze welding and silver soldering.

• BOC 420R power source fitted to WF4 wire feeder.

• Lincoln Idealarc TM300/ 300 AC & DC power source for auto, stick, or arc air gouging.

• Lincoln Idealarc R35-325 power source fitted to LN7 wire feeder.

• Esseti 160 amp portable inverter power source for DC stick welding. Set up with TIG torch for TIG welding on stainless or mild steel.

FORKLIFTS

• Komatsu 2.5 tonne side shifted petrol forklift with high lift mast.

• Mitsubishi 1.8 tonne side shifted petrol forklift with low mast.

• Toyota 2 meter mast height 800 kg petrol forklift, a versatile ride on forklift that manoeuvres very easily and fits through a normal doorway.

WORKSHOP

A modern 500 square meter workshop fitted with 3 X 4 meter wide doors and offices, lunch room etc, offers a good working environment for staff and operational ease, fully fenced, concreted and landscaped front area.

Our competent tradespeople have many years of experience and working under a well known foreman of 40 years personal experience as a machinist, can approach any job confidently and quickly. Our team consists of 4 tradesman machinists, a fitter welder, a fully trained tradesman boilermaker, 2 apprentice fitter/ turners, a trades assistant, a sawyer, an office manager and 2 assistants, and a sales manager always ready to assist.
